In Yeisk, the court fined an activist 30 thousand for a comment on Facebook

The Yeysk city court fined activist Nikolai Makukhin 30,000 rubles for a comment in which he claims that Putin "stole about 200-300 thousand rubles" from him. It is reported by "Voice of Kuban".

The court found Makukhin guilty of “disrespect for the authorities” (part 3 of article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), allegedly his comment on Facebook “defames human dignity and public morality, expresses disrespect for the state of the Russian Federation.”

The reason for initiating the case was the comment: “Putin personally stole about 200-300 thousand rubles from me when he froze the funded part of the pension in 2014.”

• At the end of July 2020, Nikolai Makukhin was fined 30,000 rubles for a comment critical of Putin. Then the reason for initiating a case under the same article (part 3 of article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) was a comment with the text “to the one that believes that Roldugin’s billions are Putin’s money, which he stole from the Russian people over 20 years.”
• In March 2019, Vladimir Putin signed a law on disrespect for authority. For the first offense under this law, a fine of 30 to 100 thousand rubles is provided.
