The Hamalei Center sent documents to Lancet to develop a vaccine from coronavirus after criticism of foreign doctors

The Hamalea Center submitted to the Lancet magazine a full -size clinical protocol of the Sputnik V vaccine study and all the data that were received during scientific research, said Denis Logunov, Deputy Director for Scientific Work , RIA Novosti . He did not specify the date of the transfer of documents and the essence of these data. Assistant to the head of the Ministry of Health of Russia Alexei Kuznetsov also confirmed TASS to send all the necessary documents regarding the vaccine.

Earlier, a group of doctors from Italy, the USA and other countries doubted the clinical trials of the Russian vaccine from coronavirus infection published in the Lancet journal. An open letter signed by professors of a number of Italian medical faculties and universities, in particular, is said about the suspicious similarity of data obtained as a result of various experiments.

16 scientists from Italy, the USA, Japan, France and Germany, who signed under the open letter, pay attention to duplicating some experimental values: 9 out of 9 volunteers participating in one of the experiments with the vaccine, within 21 days out of 28, completely coincided with antibodies.

In many cases, this is not about the uniform scatter of numbers, but about the repetition of the same numbers among different participants in the experiments. The authors of the letter emphasized that the presented data is too few to draw any unambiguous conclusions, however, the available data also cause concern with their unnaturalness.

In addition, by the time of registration of the vaccine, only two phases of clinical trials passed and was tested for only a few dozen people. Pharmaceutical companies previously called for registration until the end of the third phase of clinical tests. More than half of the doctors surveyed by the Directory of the Doctor said they have announced distrust of domestic development. After that, Lancet invited the authors of the Russian vaccine to answer the questions that are contained in the open letter.
