
The headquarters of Alexei Navalny in St. Petersburg released material about real estate to the daughter of the governor of the Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko. It states that Julia Drozdenko owns a house and a restaurant in the center of Nice. The press service of the governor in response to the request of the Paper refused to comment.
As stated in the investigation, Julia married the Frenchman Batister Jean Francois Richard in 2012. Together they own Richard Partnership, which owns apartments in the house in the center of Nice. According to Navalny’s headquarters, he was bought in June 2014 for 1 million 225 thousand euros (57 million rubles).
The company also has a La Tapenade cafe in the center of Nice, according to the material. The institution, adjacent to it, the store and the courtyard purchased for 625 thousand euros (39 million rubles) in 2015, the headquarters' activists found out.
The investigation notes that until 2019 by real estate, the father of the governor of the Leningrad region Yuri Drozdenko ruled. After his death, the property passed to his granddaughter Julia. All real estate in Nice, purchased in 2014-2015, was bought for almost 100 million rubles.
