The Petersburger won a lawsuit against the Krestov pre -trial detention center and the Ministry of Finance for violations of the conditions of detention

The Kolpinsky District Court of St. Petersburg announced the decision in the case of the Petersburger Roman Kuzmin, who demanded 600 thousand rubles from the Kresta pre -trial detention center. Kuzmin's demands were partially satisfied, putting him 10 thousand rubles. This was reported by the press service of the city courts.

Roman Kuzmin filed a lawsuit due to multiple disorders of the content, in the cell with an area of ​​eight square meters there were four people, the camera itself was not ventilated, since the ventilation was boarded up. On the walls of the camera there was mold and fungus, mice, cockroaches and bugs lived in the room. In addition, the toilet was not fenced off from the kitchen table and was a meter away from it. The toilet and pipes flowed, hot water and a tank with drinking water were absent. According to the plaintiff, people who were detained were brought to the shower once a week, it was forbidden to wash things in the bathhouse, personal hygiene items and bedding were given irregularly. There was only one battery in the cell, which was poorly warmed up, which is why ice formed on the walls in the cold season.

Roman Kuzmin could not appear at the meeting, as he is in places of imprisonment. The representative of the FSIN was at a meeting and disagreed with a lawsuit, believing that causing non -pecuniary damage was not proven. The representative of the Ministry of Finance did not appear at the meeting.

Last year, another Petersburger demanded 150 million rubles with the FSIN and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for violations of the conditions of detention in jail. He was awarded 30 thousand.
