The Kremlin announced the date of the meeting between Lukashenko and Putin

The meeting of the current President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko with Vladimir Putin will take place on Monday, September 14, confirmed Dmitry Peskov today. The meeting will take place the day after the massive Sunday protests in Belarus.

Lukashenka's visit will be a working visit, it does not involve signing documents or a final press conference.

The press will be invited only to the opening speeches of the presidents. “Perhaps we will inform you about the main results of these negotiations,” Putin’s spokesman admitted.

The date of September 14 this week was named by RIA Novosti, but there was no official confirmation of it. On September 3, Lukashenka met with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in Minsk and handed him scandalous recordings of conversations allegedly organized by the organizers of the staged assassination attempt on Alexei Navalny. The last personal meeting of the presidents took place on February 7 in Sochi.
