The body of an 11-year-old girl was found in one of the abandoned houses of Prokopyevsk under a collapsed brick wall, the Kuzbass reported in the RF IC.

“According to investigators, in the daytime, the victim with three peers were in an abandoned house where the partitions were swinging. The upper part of one of the brick walls collapsed, crushing the girl. The children called to the aid of a passerby who called an ambulance, ”the department said.

Doctors stated the death of a schoolgirl.

Investigators plan to find the owners of the house and check whether it was registered as a dilapidated. In addition, they must find out why the children were not at school.

It should be noted that in the territory of Prokopyevsk there are missions of the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Kuzbass in the district No. 14. The vote started on September 11, in some regions, classes in schools had to be canceled due to three-day elections on September 11-13.

The case was opened under Part 1 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code (causing death by negligence).
