The GoPro company officially introduced the Hero 9 Black action camera, which received a number of noticeable changes compared to the previous model of the popular line.

According to The Verge , Hero 9 Black received a new design, a color display on the front panel and an increased screen on the rear surface increased to 2.27-inch. At the same time, the camera increased slightly in size due to the new battery, the capacity of which increased to 1720 mAh (+40% compared to the Hero 8 Black battery).

As for the possibility of shooting, the new GOPRO camera allows you to shoot photos with a resolution of up to 20 megapixels (against 12 megapixels in the previous model). Also, Hero 9 Black became the first camera of the company supporting video in 5K format. In this mode, shooting is carried out at a frequency of 30 frames per second, while in 4K the camera removes with a frequency of 60 frames per second.

The GoPro Hero 9 Black has new software functions. These include the stabilization of the new generation of Hypersmooth 3.0 with aligning the horizon in the frame and the TimeAwarp 3.0 technology for shooting timelaps. In Hindsight mode, the camera starts video recording 15 or 30 seconds before the user clicks on the button, and the Liveburst mode allows you to record 1.5 seconds of the video before and after shooting the photo, writes Rozetked .
