Andrey Nikulin: "After this power, the country will have to be saved"

"You can rejoice at several opposition deputies who have passed, despite the slingshots, frauds and pressure in a number of local parliaments, but I want to remind you that such crumbs of joy wake up regularly, every year for many years and do not change anything. I will remind you that even the control of the third of the governor's posts and local leaflets did not help the communists in the mid-90s to receive power, not to mention the same. A considerable faction in the Council of Council and the State Duma, turned into a party headquarters.

"Even in the 90s, the weakened administration of the president, without current resources and hypertrophied and ultimate power structures, could and regularly beat the example of a stronger opposition. What to take the Communists, the Supreme Council and the Congress simply possessed the full authority and formally rose over the presidential post, and where are they?

No success or victory by voting in Russia is impossible for opposition. As soon as any mechanics, including many times a sketched "smart vote" suddenly begins to show effective results, the rules of the game will immediately change, which we observed more than once. As a result, the role of observers is reduced, “additional days” appear, and if necessary, the week, if all this suddenly stops working, you can always hit the table with a fist and just brush uncomfortable figures with your hand.

If you suddenly manage to get around all this and get, as a commander at one time, control over a weighty part of the regions and parliament, then you will be surprised to find that there are no real powers and chances to influence anything. The Constitution of the 93rd was specially dragged to ensure that the presidential post could effectively resist even the united efforts of all other branches of the authorities directed against it.

The sad irony that many authors of this document themselves are now fighting against authoritarianism, which they at one time supplied with all the apparatus necessary to obtain absolute power. In addition, the current change of rulers through the entertainment “voting according to the Constitution” has even more strengthened its positions.

Attempts to receive either to shake the power through elections is illusory while it is strong - the rules of the game are always on its side, if it weakens so much that it will not be able to control the situation - the elections will be the last thing that excites us.

Attempts to condemn the system by “smart voting” are doomed to countless repetition of the situation of last summer, when the deputies elected, among other things, supported and rejoiced at the rigid acceleration of demonstrations and rallies in Moscow, where they pounded just their voters. “Smart voting” enhances the position of Navalny and his group, but in no way brings the victory of the opposition as a whole.

What to do? I wrote many times, but I repeat. Firstly, not to live with illusions, participation in the elections can serve only one goal - the promotion of their ideas and values, recruiting supporters, and criticism of power. No more. No need to deceive yourself and deceive those who believe you.

Secondly, stop internal squabbles and squabbles. For this, neither financing, nor support for serious media or oligarchs, nor supernatural efforts are needed, just exhale and start not to surge, but to look for the general.

Thirdly, to build a wide supra -party coalition, following the example of the Belarusian, to bring a limited number of issues that combine the majority of opponents to the regime, and there are such topics - in the socialist, and in the freedom of the elections and the media, and in the fight against corruption, and in the abolition of extremist articles and damage to political persecution and establish a temporary moratorium on the discussion of all that breaks us. Everyone, throwing one of dozens of those that lead to endless and useless quarrels and disputes, the bingeier is, and it is with a high probability and works for the Kremlin, consciously or not.

The fact that half a dozen attempts to build coalitions already ingloriously failed not a reason to stop this work, but rather the opportunity to think about, because of what and because of whom split took place, take into account errors in the future.

In the fourth, no personalized leadership, our goal is not to put on the pedestal of the next “leader”, but to create a new system for the normal life of the whole society. In addition, all the risks of vertically-vigress systems are now clearly demonstrated in the situation with Navalny, when the removal of the central, albeit bright figure has led to a state of stupor all its movement.

The theses sound idealistically, but it is not visible in other ways. Obviously, there will be no victory either tomorrow or in a year, but this is not a reason to give up. The only thing we can do is to prepare for the time of the breakdown of the regime, and most likely, as in the past, the system itself will lead itself into a disaster. And for this moment you need to be prepared. In order to prevent power to intercept the power to the next madmen or thieves. And approach this moment as maximum as possible, with the program of actions and the first steps to save the country. Since after this power the country will have exactly what to save, devastated, burned from the inside, scattered and ruined. "
