A justice of the peace in Novocheboksarsk fined Vadim Obukhov, a volunteer from the local headquarters of Navalny and an ex-candidate for deputy of the city assembly, who reposted the publications of Open Russia, for a total sum of 10,000 rubles. This is reported by "MBH media" according to Obukhov himself.
Thus, the court fined the activist twice for 5,000 rubles, finding him guilty under the article on cooperation with an undesirable organization (Article 20.33 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
The first repost made by Obukhov spoke of the same administrative prosecution against Dmitry Semyonov, coordinator of Open Russia in Chuvashia, and Yuri Sidorov, a human rights activist. They are charged with cooperation with an undesirable organization due to the distribution of printed materials with the same colors as those of Open Russia.
The second report on Obukhov was drawn up for reposting the video “How journalists of federal channels have changed,” published by Postcard. The authors of the video compare the statements of the same state television hosts made many years ago and now.
