"Studio 44" won the concept of concepts "Tuchkova Buyana"

In St. Petersburg, the results of the competition of the concepts of the Park "Cups of Buyan", which are planned to be built on the site near the exchange bridge, were summed up. The winner was the St. Petersburg Studio 44. This was reported on September 18 at a press conference in the Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture.

Studio 44 has been working since 1991, the bureau has been reconstructing the eastern wing of the building of the Main Staff, and developed projects of Boris Eifman’s children's theater and the Central Museum of the October Railway. The company worked on the project "Tuchkova Buyana" together with the West 8 Bureau.

The second place was taken by JV Vogt together with Herzog & de Meuron from Switzerland. They proposed creating a park with an underground pavilion, a greenhouse with a walking area and a sightseeing site. The third place is among the young Petersburg bureau "needles", which proposed to turn the "clouds of Buyan" into a multi -level park with hills, a variety of plants and ponds.

Eight teams took part in the concepts of concepts, among which there were both young St. Petersburg architects and well -known bureaus from Europe. "Paper" spoke in detail about the companies.

Tentatively, about 5-6 billion rubles will be required for the implementation of the project, but the exact cost is specified.

“Tuchkov Buyan” is a future park on Dobrolyubov Avenue in the Petrograd district. Earlier in this territory they wanted to build a court quarter with administrative buildings and a residential complex for judges. In the spring of 2019, during the arrival of Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg, it was announced that instead of the quarter they would build a park.
