According to the ministry, this applies to two domestic drugs developed on the basis of Favipiravir, Avifavir and Apiplivir. Previously, their use was allowed only in hospitals.

All three drugs are designed on the basis of Favipiravir, created in Japan. There since 2014 it was used in the treatment of severe forms of influenza.
