Alexander Kerzhakov will head the Tom club

The best scorer in the history of Russian football, the senior coach of the Russian youth team, Alexander Kerzhakov, agreed to head the Tomsk Tom Tomsk club, which was the country's second most strongly division. The 37-year-old mentor will begin duties in the middle of next week.

He also said that the first match of the Tomsk team led by Kerzhakov should be held on September 27, when Tom meets with Shinnik. Prior to Kerzhakov arrived in Tomsk, Viktor Sebelev will act as head coach.

37-year-old Alexander Kerzhakov, who is the best scorer in the history of the Russian national team (30 goals), ended the player’s career in 2017. In March 2018, he was appointed senior coach of the Russian youth team (players born in 2001).
