Participants in the action in memory of Tesak were detained in Moscow

In Moscow, participants in a rally in memory of neo-Nazi Maxim "Tesak" Martsinkevich were detained near the FSB building. One of the detainees told OVD-Info about this.

Activist Ilya Lagut and another girl were detained for checking "for involvement in extremist crimes." They were taken to the Meshchansky police station and after a while they were released without any protocol being drawn up.

14:00 The police detained two more protesters. They were taken to the Meshchansky police station. One of the detainees left a poster "Eternal spring in solitary confinement" near the FSB building. She herself told OVD-Info about this.

17:30 All detainees are free. For one of the detainees, a protocol was drawn up on participation in an unapproved event (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

At the request of the last two detainees, their names have been removed from the news.

• The death of Martsinkevich in the pre-trial detention center became known on September 17. According to the FPS, he committed suicide.
