More than 300 people were detained during the “brilliant march” in Minsk

During the Saturday march in Minsk, more than 300 people have already been detained, according to the Viasna human rights center, which publishes the lists of detainees. Among them is 73-year-old activist Nina Baginskaya.

Saturday's women's action was called "Brilliant March": its participants were asked to take to the streets in bright clothes. According to the Viasna human rights center, about 2,000 people took part in it.

The detentions began at the Iceberg shopping center on Yakub Kolas Street, the wrote Nexta Telegram channel . Among the detainees, in particular, was 73-year-old activist Nina Baginskaya: according to MBKh Media, she was taken to the police department, but then released.

So far, Vesna reports 316 detainees during the march. Their number continues to grow.
