An alleged member of the People's Militia of Russia was detained in Bashkiria

In the Iglinsky district of Bashkiria, a local resident was detained, who is suspected of involvement in the "People's Militia of Russia". This is reported by the Investigative Committee, without disclosing the name of the detainee.

According to investigators, the man joined the Militia in 2015, knowing that the movement was recognized as terrorist. The detainee allegedly administered Telegram and VKontakte groups, and also prepared campaign materials from 2015 to 2017. In the near future, they are going to assign a preventive measure to him in the case of participation in a terrorist organization (part 2 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code).
