In the suburbs, the district police officer refused to initiate a case against a picket

In Lobn, the Moscow region, the district police officer refused to initiate an administrative case against Anatoly Roshchin, a participant in a single picket in support of the Belarusian protesters. Roshchin himself told the OVD-info about this.

On September 20, Roshchin went to the Lobny City Hall with the poster “Russia is not a gendarme. Hands off Belarus! ” The picket worker noted that during the action, provocateurs approached him, but there were no detention.

On September 22, the district police officer came home and demanded an explanation in connection with the action. "Who allowed you?" - said the policeman. Roshchin replied that the right to a single picket was guaranteed by the Constitution, refused to give explanations and agreed to meet with the security forces later.

The day after consulting with the senior lawyer of the OTD-Info, Nadezhda Kuzina Roshchin called the district police officer to ask for an official agenda for calling to the police. The security officer said that he decided not to initiate a matter against a civilian activist: “I was misleading. I dealt with the law. It turned out that single pickets are allowed. ”
