In Novosibirsk, police detained Yuri Izmailov before the start of the Solidarity campaign with residents of the Khabarovsk Territory. Izmailov himself spoke about this OVD-Info.
The police detained him when he went to the store on the way to the action: a police car drove up to the building, and Izmailov was detained without explanation.
During the detention, the police took the telephone from Izmailov without a protocol of seizure. The detainee was delivered to the police department in the Central District of Novosibirsk.
Izmailov was kept in the AVD for about three hours. He was taken from his explanations about what he was doing on September 25: supposedly the police officer received orientation that the activist drew something on the streets of the city. After that, Izmailov was released.
