At another protest in Belarus, a women's march in Minsk, several dozen people were detained . This is the first protest action since the secret inauguration of Alexander Lukashenko.
According to the Belarusian human rights center Viasna, 49 protesters were detained at the protest, including at least four journalists.
The NEXTA Telegram channel reported that the current action is a “rehearsal for the inauguration” of Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, which should show that she is the real president of the country.
Protests have been going on in Belarus for a month and a half in connection with the fraud in the presidential elections on August 9 and the subsequent violence against protesters. Women's marches took place in Minsk on the last Saturdays - women peacefully took to the streets, sang songs and gave flowers to the security forces.
