The second wave of coronavirus can teach many lessons, including teachers. By decree of the Moscow authorities, schools from October 5 to 18 are closed on vacation. Universities are recommended to transfer the maximum number of employees to remote work and return to distance learning.

The decree is advisory in nature, on their basis the educational organization has the right to make a decision autonomously. School principals today confirmed the consent of the new schedule. But if schoolchildren were simply presented with an extra week of autumn holidays, then universities will have to continue the educational process - the semester has just begun. Therefore, universities are in no hurry to change the format, waiting for the order of the Ministry of Education and Science. They choose less from two evils, often a large of evil perceiving the distant.

One of the reasons for the forced transition to the online professor considers the lack of finance:

- Colleagues from the University of Omsk calculated that if you follow all the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor - thermometry, the supply of masks, disinfection of air with special equipment, then one semester will cost the university an additional 20 million rubles, which simply have nowhere to take it. Therefore, it was cheaper to start classes remotely.

Remote education is inconvenient for a physical plan, warns the professor of UNESCO Department “Cultural and Historical Psychology of Childhood” by Vladimir Kudryavtsev :

- The employer does not take into account when transferring to the online that the load on the Labor Code increases, the conditions of labor organization are changing, fatigue is growing. If an elderly professor has problems with the spine, he is preferable to sit, but when he also has vision problems, then the screen is clearly contraindicated. Many are used to walking during lectures, talking, conveying thoughts with the help of facial expressions and intonations - all this affects the quality of education, but no one will take this lyrics into account!

According to Vladimir Kudryavtsev, two factors are affected by the university in the final decision - the level of rectorial liability and the level of rectus anxiety:

Judging by the schedules that Denis Protsenko’s head physicist posted on Facebook, people from 18 to 40 years of age make up only 4% of patients, and 81% are over 60 years old. Workers over 65 years old or having chronic diseases, in pursuance of the decree of the mayor of Moscow, were proposed to switch to remote work of their own free will.
