
The main weather forecaster of St. Petersburg, Alexander Kolesov, said that October in the city is expected to be warm with temperatures up to +15 degrees in the first half of the month. The first frosts are predicted to the second half of October. It is reported by TASS.
The weather forecaster noted that in St. Petersburg an anomaly exceeds the norm by two degrees. Precipitation, according to Kolesov, will not be above the norm. In early October, weather forecasters expect a temperature of +15–18 degrees during the day, and night temperatures will vary within +5-10 degrees.
According to forecasts, in the second half of October, daily temperatures can be within four to nine degrees above zero, and nights-from +1 to +6. In some nights, the temperature can drop to minus values.
Last Saturday, the next temperature record was updated in St. Petersburg. The air temperature warmed up to +21 degrees. Previously, temperature records were updated on September 23 and September 24 .
