The Kuntsevsky District Court of Moscow has appointed seven days of administrative arrest to the defender of the Ivan Franko Park, Mikhail Shendakov. He himself told OVD-Info about this.
Shendakov was found guilty under the article on petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The court decided to set off the two days that the detainee spent in the police department.
Shendakov was detained on October 3 during a gathering against the construction of a park on Ivan Franko Street. Another protester, Konstantin Fokin, was pushed from an excavator by a worker, after which Fokin was taken away by an ambulance.
Shendakov was taken to the Kuntsevo police station, where he was charged with petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The police kept the detainee in the department for two days before the trial.
