The Ministry of Internal Affairs allocated more than 153 million rubles for ultraviolet bactericidal lamps

The Ministry of the Interior allocated 153.1 million rubles for the purchase of 6 199 ultraviolet lamps. The corresponding tender "MBH Media" found on the portal of public procurement.

According to documents, the power of the radiation of the lamps should be at least 14 W, and the degree of disinfection should be at least 99%. The warranty period of the lamps should be at least 12 months. Whether these lamps are purchased due to pandemia of coronavirus-it is not specified.

The auction is scheduled for October 16. The contractor will have to deliver the goods within 15 days from the date of signing the contract.

Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor confirmed that ultraviolet is killing coronavirus. “We use ultraviolet lamps, the recommendation of at least 15 minutes ... They are able to completely destroy coronavirus. Nevertheless, this is considered an additional tool, because there are some cracks in which the virus can remain active, where ultraviolet radiation will not fall, so the lamps are recommended to use in addition to disinfectants, ” said Tatyana Ruzhetsova, head of the clinical research department of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Rospotrebnadzor.
