In the play “Master and Margarita”, Daria Moroz and Igor Mirkurbanov are employed, and the artistic director of the Arslonga festival, conductor and soloist Ivan Rudin (piano) will stand behind the remote control of the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra (MGSO).
As part of the regional program of the festival, the production based on the novel by Mikhail Bulgakov will be later presented in Samara (October 19) and Svetlogorsk (October 25), added in the press service.
The festival will last until November 8, its sites in Moscow will also become the Zaryadye, Bashmet Center and the Chamber Hall of the Philharmonic.
The central theme of Arslonga is the music of Ludwig van Beethoven, whose 250th anniversary is celebrated in 2020.
On October 11, a concert "Universe Beethoven" will take place in the Great Hall of the Conservatory. The program has a fifth symphony and a concert for a violin with an orchestra R Major. The concert will be attended by MGSO and conductors Viktor Jacob, Nikita Sorokin and Nikolai Qingman. Soloist - Gaik Kazazyan (violin).
From October 30 to November 1, Beelen-Crazy-Weekend (“Crazy Whikend Beethoven” will be held at the Bashmet Center): For three days, the majority of Beethoven’s chamber works will be performed in non-stop mode, including all cello and violin sonatas, quarters, trio, and songs for voice. Among the performers are Yuri Bashmet, Alexander Rudin, Alexey Lundin, Boris Andrianov and Daniil Kogan.
