Water reserves in the main reservoirs of Crimea and Sevastopol do not exceed 15%. Some, for example, intercorn, dry out, it is impossible to pump water from them for the population. The authorities, trying to cope with the water crisis, play another game - try to knock out additional funding from Moscow.
After Ukraine’s overlapping the North Crimean Canal, the peninsula collided with a shortage of fresh water. In August of this year, Simferopol and Bakhchisarai districts were left without it. A month later, the water crisis reached the northern part of Crimea and East. And in October, the authorities of Sevastopol officially recognized the problems with water supply, introducing a regime of increased readiness.
Of the 64.2 million cubic meters of water in the Chernorechensky reservoir, which the hero city feeds, in fact, only 9.8 million cubic meters remain for use. That is - 15%.
The press service of the regional government assures that if there is no precipitation, then there will be enough water for 81 days. Vice-Governor of Sevastopol Vladimir Bazarov, in a conversation with New Gazeta, said that so far they did not plan to enter the supply of water on schedule to residential buildings, as in the neighboring Republic of Crimea. When asked how much reserves are, he did not answer.
The authorities are reluctant to talk about the introduction of the schedule, but in the summer all garden partnerships, where tens of thousands of people live, received water with interruptions. Now, under the pretext of the autumn-winter season, it will be submitted 1-2 times a week.
The officials are seriously concerned with the water crisis, but often their attempts to solve the problem are more like a begging for the next billions of subsidies from the federal center, which is still investing in the peninsula. The “New” already wrote that in early September, the head of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev at a meeting with the president received his approval at the transfer of the waters of the Kokkozka River for the needs of the city. The residents of the Belbek Valley, as well as politicians of the Republic of Crimea, opposed. The transfer can deprive 30 thousand Crimeans. At the end of September, the head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov said that the republic could not share water with Sevastopol and that the transfer project would not be implemented.

It seems that in the peak of the Crimean authorities, the head of Sevastopol again took advantage of relations with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense to receive 4.5 billion rubles promised by Putin from Moscow. A week ago, at a meeting of the Russian government, it was decided to allocate almost 5 billion rubles for the construction of water supply facilities and the Republic of Crimea. More than 870 million rubles are planned to be spent on overhaul of water supply networks and on the development of additional wells. It sounds good, but at a meeting of the Government of Sevastopol, the vice-governor Vladimir Bazarov said that from the funds allocated by the Federal Center Peninsula, this year 175 million rubles will be spent on the repair of water supply networks of the region, another 55 million-on exploration and drilling wells on existing water intakes.
The remaining money will be mastered by the builders of the Ministry of Defense for the construction of a water intake on the Belbek River and the transfer of water resources from the Kadykovsky reservoir. At the same time, the Republic of Crimea from the federal subsidy will get only about 400 million rubles. Although the construction of desalination installations announced by the Crimean authorities costs almost 20 billion.
For coccaulus, it was planned to build about 60 km of the pipeline (it was purchased immediately after the approval of the project by Putin), and for Belbek you need only something more than 2.8 kilometers.
As the social activist and a resident of the Belbek Valley Andrei Sitnikov told Novaya Gazeta, the other day the governor almost incognito visited the construction of a water intake: without a press, without meeting with local residents. There were only officials and employees of Vodokanal.
Now, between the village of Verkhnesadovaya and the Far, the trees have been cut down and the site has been cleared, a drilling machine is working. To the questions of the “new”, whether the project was discussed with the scientists, and how much this project is high -quality, the social activist could not answer. He says that the authorities do not provide almost any information. According to the hydrobiologist Grigory Provkov, such projects have been developed for at least a year in parallel with scientific research. Considering that there are extremely few water in Belbek, and in places it has practically dry, it is doubtful that this project should be implemented in general.
Moreover, there is an example of Crimea. In some areas of the republic, the water deficit is so serious that it is necessary to introduce emergencies,
In a conversation with the "New Gazeta", social activist Alexander Talipov noted. The northern and central Crimea dehydrated. Now the eastern part of the peninsula has joined them. The problems worsened in the summer, after the military (less than two months!) Built the pipeline for the transfer of water from the Belogorsk reservoir to Simferopol. The first echelons of pipes for a new water conduit came to Crimea in mid -July. The gasket involved 300 military personnel, 140 units of engineering equipment of the pipeline units of the southern, western and eastern military districts. As a result, the military laid 15 lines of pipes.
According to Alexander Talipov, as soon as the water supply was launched, reports about significant water weapons began to appear. The fact is that initially the military built the pipeline not as a stationary object, but as a mobile - for a temporary solution to water problems. Moreover, this water supply was originally assumed not for the needs of the population, but as a backup source of water supply to the Ministry of Defense units. As a result, the rows of pipes intersect both with dirt roads and with asphalt, which cannot but affect wear.
“The Belogorsk reservoir decreased four times after they began to pump water for Simferopol,” says Alexander Talipov.
According to the social activist, in six and a half years, the Crimean authorities did not do anything to solve the problem of water, although the funds were at least for the repair of networks. Until now, no one has been concerned about the construction of desalination attitudes.
Now the authorities are drilling wells. But the difficulty is that they can only be dried above the sea level, otherwise sea water will sooner or later get into them, and the well will become unsuitable for use. But now, during the crisis, the authorities do not pay attention to these trifles, the social activist summed up.
