In 2021, Russians will have seven long weekends

The Russian government determined the procedure for transferring weekends in 2021. The decision on October 16 was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

In accordance with the resolution, December 31 will become a day off, as January 2 and 3 fall on Saturday and Sunday. Their government was transferred to Friday, November 5, and Friday, December 31.

Non -working Saturday, February 20, will be transferred to Monday, February 22 - so the Russians will have three days off.

In total, seven holiday periods are planned for 2021: from January 1 to 10, from February 21 to 23, from March 6 to 8, from May 1 to 3, from May 8 to June 14 and from November 4 to 7.
