Two sites will not accept the “total dictation” due to the epidemiological situation. This was reported on the event page.

Due to the deterioration of the situation with coronavirus, participants will not be able to pass the Total Dictation in the General Staff of the Hermitage and in the Lenin library in the Petrograd district. At the same time, from the main headquarters, which was supposed to become the main platform this year, they will broadcast the dictation.

The organizers report that they have reached a preliminary agreement with two new sites, which should adopt the participants registered in the Lenin Library and the Library. It is not yet reported which institutions are in question. The organizers also asked potential participants to choose an online format of a dictation.

Earlier it became known that the participants will also not accept the site of the publication "St. Petersburg Vedomosti".

This year, the Total Dictation takes place on October 17. A passage from the work of writer Andrei Gelasimov was chosen for the dictation. He will read it in the main headquarters.

In St. Petersburg, an increase in the number of identified cases of infection with coronavirus continues. For two days in a row in the city, a record increase is recorded: on October 15, 638 cases were recorded per day, and on October 16 - 647 .
