“In that story, the employees, in my opinion, exceeded their official duties. But I have information that criminal cases have also been initiated against people in uniform,” Zhdanov said. According to what article they opened cases against the police, the lawyer did not specify.
On September 25, police and bailiffs were about to arrest the Furgalomobil, a minibus participating in protests in support of the former head of the Khabarovsk Territory, Sergei Furgal, for the debts of the wife of his driver Andrei Maklygin, who owns the car. The bailiffs and police officers tried to pull Maklygin out of the car by force, there were activists around the car. Between them there was a skirmish, during which one of the participants sprayed pepper spray.
