Lawyer: criminal cases have been opened against the police who used force against the Furgalomobile defenders

Criminal cases were opened against the police officers who used force against the activists who defended the Furgalomobil. This is reported by the publication DVHAB.RU with reference to the lawyer Alexei Zhdanov.

“In that story, the employees, in my opinion, exceeded their official duties. But I have information that criminal cases have also been initiated against people in uniform,” Zhdanov said. According to what article they opened cases against the police, the lawyer did not specify.

On September 25, police and bailiffs were about to arrest the Furgalomobil, a minibus participating in protests in support of the former head of the Khabarovsk Territory, Sergei Furgal, for the debts of the wife of his driver Andrei Maklygin, who owns the car. The bailiffs and police officers tried to pull Maklygin out of the car by force, there were activists around the car.
