The girl refused to leave, and the teacher showed a caricature of the prophet from Charlie Hebdo. The student also told her parents that after she began to swear with the teacher about "blasphemy", she was forbidden to come to lessons within two days.

Shortly after the attack on Samuel Pati, French President Emmanuel Macron came to the place of attack. The head of the fifth republic called on the nation to unite, said that there was a "existential" battle, because "obscurantism and the violence accompanying it would not win." “The whole country supports its teachers.
