Vladimir Nikolaevich Osipov was born in 1938 in the city of Slantsy of the Leningrad Region, in 1955-1959 he studied at the History Faculty of Moscow State University, then worked as a history teacher in one of the Moscow schools.
In 1961 he was arrested for participating in organizing poetic readings at the monument to Mayakovsky and convicted under Art. 70 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR ("Anti -Soviet agitation and propaganda"). In 1962-1968 he was in prison in Dubravlaga (Mordovia).
In 1971-1974, he published the Orthodox-patriotic typewritten magazine "Veche", also released one issue of the magazine "Earth". In 1974 he was arrested, in 1975 he was sentenced under Art. 70 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR by eight years of camps and until 1982 was serving a sentence in Dubravlag.
In the late 1980s, he resumed the publication of the magazine "Earth" and organized the group "For the spiritual and biological liberation of the people", on the basis of which he created and headed the "Christian Patriotic Union", later renamed the "Christian Renaissance" union. The author of many articles, essays and books.
