A teacher of English and Polish languages ​​is suspected of "organizing group actions that grossly violating public order, or active participation in them." For more than a month, 25-year-old Marina Glazova is in the Brest Investigative Izolator No. 7. On September 13, she participated in the protest in Brest at the intersection of the cosmonauts and Masherov Avenue. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, about 1000 people took to the streets that day. People walked around the city, sang songs, drove round dances. And then they were dispersed by the waterlet.

“She was taken for a round dance,” says the poet Vladimir Glazov , Marina's father, Euroradio. -As if by this round dance, they blocked the movement of public transport. Then, in Brest, in my opinion, a vitaite was first used. As I understand it, the authorities had to justify its application, which is why they do so hard. My daughter was arrested on September 23. They came home in the morning, on the tenth day after the action, when she was going to work. ”

Vladimir learned about the detention of his daughter on the third day from the Internet, since Marina lives separately.

“What emotions can be, except for grabbing the head? - Vladimir recalls his reaction that the daughter is suspected of a criminal offense.

- A feeling of complete helplessness. I want to do something, and you can’t. You walk around the room like a beast in a cage. "

Marina's mother was present during the search of her apartment, which took place a few days later. For a month now, together with a lawyer, parents have been trying to return their daughter to freedom. Dates with Marina are prohibited. According to the father, the girl is also not released on the bail.

“She is kept under investigation, criminal article 342,” Vladimir continues. - In the first letter that I received, Marina made it clear that as soon as they came for her, they told her that they would not be released before the trial. When the court is unknown. The investigation can last two months, and there they will still extend. It is clear that she wrote a letter with an eye. All this is read - on each page there is a stamp. Described household items. I wrote what they feed - a lot of carbohydrates, I want fruits. I’ll go ... I will give the program. Everything seems to be fine with health. As I understood, the most difficult for her was that they transferred from the camera to the camera. Just meet you, only adapt to some people, bam - you are pulled out and you are adjusted for a new one. And in ordinary life, after all, this happens when you have to change one circle of people to a completely different ... "

Vladimir believes that for the authorities his daughter is “an ideal target”, they say, “here we have such young people.”

“I am a Soviet person,” explains Papa Marina. - I had a pioneer childhood. Then there were such concepts as “socially close” and “socially not close” citizens. So for our current realities, our authorities of such people as Marina-smart, craving for something new-they are all not socially close. Such a position, they say, well, what are they missing? My daughter is a young, unmarried teacher ... She studied well at school. She graduated from Inyaz in Brest, simultaneously engaged with children in Polish society, teaches two languages. She loves to travel, managed to travel around Europe: she was in Germany, the Baltic states, in my opinion, stopped in Finland ... "

Vladimir says, despite the fact that the daughter was born in 1995 and did not see anyone except Lukashenko, she had an active civic position. Like many Belarusians, she went out after the elections to the streets. “Understanding in which country we live in,” father periodically pulled her out, and she sewed and hung on the window of the BCHB-Flag, which sagged there until they came for her.

“Young people are young, to somehow try to change the situation,” Vladimir sums up. -Something similar happened in the late 80s-in the early 90s. We also wanted to jump out of all this. But in the situation of today's youth, this is much worse. You see, I am a writer, a journalist ... It seems to me that then everything was on the rise of both psychological and cultural ... in all areas of life. And now it is more likely to happen in spite of. I saw at least something-and perestroika, and the 90s, and what was later. Our children have not seen anyone else, and this is horror .... This whole situation turns around by a nightmare. Our children see everything in a completely different way. But I don’t have a hand about their opinion. I have no moral right to this. ”

Marina is the only Brest resident who is held behind bars in a criminal case associated with protests. On October 7, human rights activists recognized her political prisoner.
