Nochlezhka will hold an “Express Help” campaign in Russian cafes and restaurants in support of the homeless

The Nochlezhka charity organization will hold an “Espress Help” campaign on November 7. The NGO told Taki Dela about this.

On the day of the event, dozens of cafes in Russian cities and other countries will donate all proceeds for coffee or another item on the menu to help the homeless. “Nochlezhka” invites everyone to have lunch, go to a party, a lecture, or a master class in favor of its charges. You can also organize a charity event yourself on this day. To do this, you need to register an event, the proceeds of which will go to Nochlezhka. The NGO clarified that this could be a performance, distribution of homemade sweets, an excursion, yoga training, and even “home gatherings.”

The event website has instructions that will help you create your own event. For those who register the event, the coordinator will send a letter with a model of an elegant money box for donations, which can be printed on cardboard.

All proceeds will go to the work of the Nochlezhka Consulting Service in St. Petersburg and Moscow. Its employees help homeless people. The cost of one appointment at the service averages 1,190 rubles, the NGO said.

Nochlezhka has already held 13 “Espress Help” campaigns, during which they managed to raise 3.7 million rubles. “300 cafes and restaurants took part in the event. Thanks to this support, 400 people eventually got off the street,” the NGO noted.
