Sberbank bought Rambler Group from Mamut

Sberbank buys 45% of Rambler Group from Alexander Mamut and thus increases its stake in the company to 100%. This is reported on the bank's website.

Sberbank became a shareholder of Rambler in 2019, in July 2020 the bank increased its share in the group to 55%.

“The parties signed binding documentation and closed the deal,” Sberbank said in a statement.

The bank did not name the amount of the transaction, specifying that the company will pay for the 45% share in tranches. The first will amount to three billion rubles, the second "will be determined later and paid during the year."
