In Belgorod, the ban on public rallies near government buildings was lifted

The Legislative Assembly of the Belgorod Region lifted the ban on holding public events near the buildings of government bodies and law enforcement agencies, as well as railway stations, airports, markets, places of worship. This is reported by "7 × 7" with reference to the deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Stanislav Panov.

Thus, the deputies brought the regional legislation in line with the decision of the Constitutional Court of June 4, 2020. In it, the court directly points out the inadmissibility of such restrictions.

Earlier, similar decisions were made by the Legislative Assembly of Primorsky Krai , Volgograd Region , and Pskov Region .
