In St. Petersburg, the Committee on Law, Order and Security fined Pavel Ivankin, a solo picket participant, for violating the “self-isolation regime” (Article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) for 8,000 rubles. About it writes "MBH Media".

Ivankin was charged with participation in two actions that took place on May 1 and 29. During the first picket, Ivankin came out with a placard “Why do we need a greedy president? Putin go away! ”, During the second, he expressed solidarity with journalist Ilya Azar, who was placed under administrative arrest for a peaceful rally.

• On May 28, journalist and municipal deputy Ilya Azar was arrested for 15 days for a picket in support of Vladimir Vorontsov, the author of the “Police Ombudsman” public page, and activist Viktor Nemytov, who was detained for the same picket. Azar was found guilty of repeated violation of the rules of the action (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Subsequently, Azar was reduced to 10 days.
• On the same day, journalists and activists took to the streets in support of Ilya Azar. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, 22 people were detained. The next day, May 29, activists in different cities went out in single pickets with the slogans “Picket is not a crime”, “Freedom to Ilya Azar”. According to OVD-Info, were detained 42 people at single pickets near the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow in Moscow and St. Petersburg. On May 30, 15 people were detained .
