In Volgograd, the court fined a participant in the action against Putin’s policy and in support of Belarus

The Central District Court of Volgograd fined 10 thousand rubles of civil activist Vladimir Telpuk in the footsteps of the action against Putin’s policy and in support of protesters in Belarus, which took place on August 15. According to the trial, Telpuk and another Kuznetsov picketer went out in the center of Volgograd with posters Putin Enemy of Russia? Pensions of housing and communal services ”and“ Live Belarus ”. The judge concluded that the picketers allegedly conducted an “event in the form of group picket” without submitting a notification, which violated the laws on shares (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

In court, Telpuk said that on August 15 he held a single picket and in fact there was no joint action with Kuznetsov. The civilian activist also emphasized that during the picket, unknown people approached him and threatened with reprisal from the poster. Telpuk reported this to the police officer who was nearby, but law enforcement officers did not respond to this in any way.

In court, the interests of Telpuk were represented by lawyer Mikhail Panin and the coordinator of the "International Human Rights Alliance" Anatoly Boltkhov.

• In 2018, in Volgograd, the court arrested activist Vladimir Telpuk for one day for a post on the VKontakte social network. According to the lawyer, the activist was accused of VKontakte, with the photo of the Ukrainian Right Sector prohibited in Russia, Dmitry Yarosh and his telephone.
