Member of the "Association of Popular Resistance" (ANS) Mikhail Pulin received a political asylum in Lithuania. He writes about this on Facebook.
In July, Pulin stated that he had left Russia due to persecution in the framework of a criminal case under an article on the illegal formation of a legal entity (part 2 of article 173.1 of the Criminal Code). At that time, the ANS activist took place in the case in the status of a witness and was afraid that he would be charged.
On May 7, 2020, Pulin and at least three addresses of ACC representatives were searches. As the lawyer from the OVD-info Dmitry Gravitov reported, the police staged visits on the trace of the criminal case under the article on the illegal education of the legal entity (part 2 of article 173.1 of the Criminal Code). According to the security forces, unknown persons issued legal organizations on members of the ANS and loaned.
