A protocol was drawn up against the administrator of an LGBT dating group on VKontakte for “gay propaganda”

In Yekaterinburg, an administrative case was opened against the administrator of a group on VKontakte for LGBT dating about promoting non-traditional sexual relations among minors using the Internet (part 2 of article 6.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This is reported by the network publication It's My City with reference to the protocol.

A 20-year-old local resident named Vera, according to the protocol, placed in the group “Rainbow Ekb|LGBT Yekaterinburg” profiles of minors “representatives of LGBT people, in order to find friends/partners for non-traditional sexual relations, thereby promoting non-traditional sexual relations.”

Propaganda, according to the police, consisted of "dissemination of information aimed at instilling non-traditional sexual attitudes among minors, the attractiveness of non-traditional sexual relations, a distorted idea of the social equivalence of traditional and non-traditional sexual relations, or the imposition of non-traditional sexual relations."

Now the public in question has been deleted, as has Vera's page.

“I consider this article absolutely vague, inaccurate, and everything can be adjusted to the concept of “propaganda”. For me, propaganda is a call. A call in public, where people were looking for friends and new communication? ..

There was no call and close. If the existence of LGBT people is a call, then I don’t know anymore. And apparently this is the case, ” Vera wrote on her Instagram.

LGBT activist Yulia Tsvetkova from Komsomolsk-on-Amur has been repeatedly prosecuted under the law on propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations among minors. Due to pressure, she had to cancel the Color of Saffron activist arts festival, and her students were questioned several times by the police because of their participation in the play Pink and Blue.
At the moment, Tsvetkova is being prosecuted under a criminal article on the distribution of pornography (paragraph “b” of part 3 of article 242 of the Criminal Code) due to the publication of pictures in the public “Vagina Monologues”.
