Following Pashaev, another defender from the case of Efremov lost the lawyer status. Often this happens? By what rules do lawyers live?

The lawyer chamber of Moscow deprived of the status of Alexei Kovrizhkin. He defended the former policeman Alexander Lyakhovts - the key person involved in the case of Ivan Golunov.

In connection with a completely different case, two former investigators of the Investigative Committee complained to Kovrizhkin. According to them, the defender handed them a bribe and led a hidden recording of the conversation. The lawyer himself insists that this was done with the participation of the FSB. He intends to appeal the decision of the Moscow Chamber.

This is the third case over the past few weeks, when lawyers who participate in resonant processes are deprived of status. In September, in such a situation was lawyer Elman Pashayev , who represented the interests of actor Mikhail Efremov.

A similar disciplinary case was considered in relation to Alexander Dobrovinsky. He defended the interests of the family of Sergei Zakharov - who died in an accident with Efremov. The ward considered that his behavior was contrary to lawyer ethics. Dobrovinsky is also deprived of the status of a lawyer.
