A criminal case has been opened on the fact of death in hospital No. 20 in Rostov-on-Don of patients with COVID-19, Interfax reports with reference to the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for the region.
The case was initiated under the article “Causing death by negligence to two or more persons” on the fact of the death of five patients, the UK said, without specifying what could have caused the death and other details.
According to Interfax sources, as part of the investigation of the case, searches are being carried out in the administration of Rostov-on-Don, the department of the city health department, the regional Ministry of Health and the place of residence of the former head of the city health department, Nadezhda Levitskaya.
