Vademecum: The FSIN will buy 35 million medical masks from one hundred Russian colonies for almost a billion rubles

The Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) of the Russian Federation will spend 839.3 million rubles on 35 million gauze masks that are made in Russian colonies. Vademecum writes about this.

The publication refers to the contract that the Federal Penitentiary Service signed with Delrus in September 2020. The purchase from a single supplier was carried out without a tender by order of the Russian government dated July 23, 2020, writes Vademecum. The document was not published on the portal of legal information.

Under the terms of the contract, by October 30, 2020, Delrus must provide 64 institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service with masks at a price of 23.98 rubles per piece.

In March 2020, Delrus became the sole supplier of medical masks to the regions of the Russian Federation, Vademecum points out. The company received a registration certificate for the production of masks at 147 enterprises, including 111 colonies in no less than nine regions of the Russian Federation, the publication clarifies.

“The technical conditions for the production of the mask specified in the registration certificate coincide with the data in the state contract with the Federal Penitentiary Service,” the magazine adds.

• Most of the masks, according to Vademecum, should be received by the Federal Penitentiary Service for the Krasnodar Territory - six million pieces. From two to almost five million masks will be received by the Federal Penitentiary Service in Udmurtia, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo and Nizhny Novgorod regions.
• Delrus did not provide Vademecum with an operational comment, the magazine also sent a request to the Federal Penitentiary Service. As the magazine clarifies, Delrus is “one of the leading suppliers” of medical equipment and specialized services. Vademecum estimated the volume of the company's government contracts for 2019 at 7.5 billion rubles.
