In Russia for the second day there are more than 18 thousand new cases of coronavirus

In Russia on October 31, for the second day in a row, more than 18 thousand new cases of coronavirus were recorded.

According to the operational headquarters for the day by October 31, there were 18,140 new cases of infection in the country (the day before - 18,283). During the day, 334 deaths were recorded.

The total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 27,990.

Moscow accounted for less than a third of the incidence - 4952 cases, and there were fewer hospitalized than those discharged (1070 versus 1310).

In the world, WHO has already recorded more than 500 thousand cases of coronavirus infection per day. On Friday, the US passed the threshold of 100,000 new cases per day.
