The flight director was released from punishment in the case of a plane crash that collided with a snowplow in Vnukovo

Due to the expiration of the statute of limitations, flight director Roman Dunaev was released from punishment in the case of the crash of the Falcon 50 plane of the head of the oil company Total, Christophe de Margerie, at Moscow's Vnukovo airport in 2014. this TASS reports with reference to the Moscow City Court.

In July, Dunaev was sentenced to six years in prison on charges of violating traffic safety rules and operating an air transport vessel, resulting in death by negligence (Part 3 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code).

Instructor controller Alexander Kruglov and taxi controller Nadezhda Arkhipova received five and five and a half years in prison, respectively, for the same article. Arkhipova was granted amnesty in honor of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The Falcon 50 crashed in October 2014 after colliding with a snowplow on the runway. Millionaire Christophe de Margerie and three crew members were killed.

The driver of the snowplow Vladimir Martynenko and airfield service engineer Vladimir Ledenev admitted guilt and received real sentences. The court released them from punishment due to an amnesty in honor of the 70th anniversary of the Victory.
