Security forces detained Vyacheslav Marugov, a suspect in the murder of the owner of the Meat Empire, RIA Novosti reports , citing a source in law enforcement agencies.

Senior assistant to the head of the Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region, Olga Vradiy, told the news agency that a suspect in the murder of a man in the Moscow region had been detained. At the same time, Vradiy did not specify what kind of murder she was talking about.

In the morning, the Investigative Committee reported that a man was shot with a crossbow in a private house near Istra. Baza claimed that we were talking about Marugov.

According to investigators, on the night of November 2, masked people entered the bathhouse where the spouses were, tied them up and demanded money. The woman managed to escape, and police arriving at the scene found her husband dead. "Moskovsky Komsomolets" wrote without specifying a source that Marugov was in a bathhouse with a 36-year-old girlfriend.

According to Spark , Vyacheslav Marugov owned the Ozeretsk Sausages meat processing plant, which produces products under the Meat Empire brand, and several other companies. RBC noted that the businessman is undergoing bankruptcy proceedings.
