The Primorsky Regional Court imposed a fine of 250 thousand rubles on the former head of the investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Primorsky Territory, Ilya Shamratov, who was accused of fraud with bonuses. this . reported The press service of the court

According to investigators, from the moment of his appointment to the position at the end of 2013 until his arrest in February 2017, Shamratov awarded increased bonuses to his subordinates and demanded that the difference be returned. The damage was estimated at 12 million rubles (clause “c” of Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code).

He was also accused of illegally obtaining a combat veteran’s certificate in 2014 and receiving payments of more than 80 thousand rubles (Part 3 of Article 159.2 of the Criminal Code).

The case was opened after the story of one of the investigators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs about coercion of them to give kickbacks. Shamratov himself, as noted by PrimaMedia , in court explained the collection of money from his subordinates by the fact that it was spent on “training seminars, incentives for investigators, parents of investigators, letters of gratitude, flowers,” as well as on gifts for children at the orphanage.
