During the debate in the Perm Regional Court, the state prosecutor also demanded that the student be withheld part of the salary and turn the computer and router seized during the search into state revenue.
According to the representative of the prosecutor's office, Shestakov "spread information expressing clear disrespect for society" when he applied for the publication of a photo of General Vlasov, "convicted of treason."
Shestakov's interests are represented in court by the lawyer of the international human rights group "Agora" Aleksey Shardakov. The defender emphasized that the photo of Vlasov was never published on the site and stated that the student must be acquitted.
