Ex-candidate for elections to the Cheboksary City Duma was fined in connection with speaking before voters

The Leninsky Court of Cheboksary fined Talgad Yalaldinov, an ex-candidate in the elections to the City Duma, in connection with a meeting with voters. This was reported by the head of the "Apology of Protest" Alexei Glukhov.

According to the police, Yalaldinov, as the organizer, held an uncoordinated rally without filing a notification (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), when he spoke with a megaphone in front of the voters of another candidate for the City Duma, Semyon Kochkin.

However, the court reclassified the case to an article on participation in an uncoordinated action (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and imposed a fine of 10,000 rubles on Yalaldinov.

In September, the Moscow Court of Cheboksary fined former City Duma candidate Semyon Kochkin 10,000 rubles. The court found Kochkin guilty of violations in organizing a public event (part 1 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) in connection with the call to come to his pre-election meeting with voters. Also, another court fined him 11 thousand rubles directly for holding this meeting with voters on August 29.
