The Kirovsky District Court of Ufa imposed 20 hours of compulsory labor on local activist Ilgam Yanberdin under an article on violating the rules for organizing a public event (Part 1 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code). This was reported by Ural. MBH Media" with reference to the activist himself. The information is also confirmed on the court's website.
The reason for initiating the case was Yanberdin’s participation in a people’s meeting against the republican law on the redistribution of powers to provide land participants, state ownership of which is not delineated.
The law, which was opposed by local residents, provided for the transfer of powers to manage such lands from municipalities to regional authorities. According to MBKh Media, activists believe that the amendments could allow the destruction of, among other things, natural monuments in Bashkiria.
The Kurultai of Bashkortostan approved the bill on October 29. At the same time, local authorities were left with the authority to approve rules for land use and land development, the state ownership of which is not demarcated.
Ilgam Yanberdin is a Bashkir activist and participant in protests in defense of the Kushtau Shikhan . On November 2, Yanberdin was sentenced to 40 hours of forced labor due to the August 17 resignation of the head of the Ishimbay district, Azamat Abdrakhmanov.
