
The Southern District Military Court at a meeting in Rostov-on-Don announced the verdict to the defendants in the Krasnogvardeisky case “Hizb Ut-Tahrir”. This is reported by the movement "Crimean Solidarity".
Rustem Emiruseinov was found guilty under the article on the organization of the activities of a terrorist organization (part 1 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code), Arsen Abkhairov and Eskender Abdulganiev - under an article on participation in the activities of a terrorist organization (part 2 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code). On the T -shirts of believers were the inscriptions: “1944 - appointed as traitors” , “2016 - appointed to terrorists” and “The study of religion is not terrorism”.
The court decided to send all three to a maximum security colony: Abdulganiev for 12 years, Abkhairova - for 13, Emirusinov for 17. The first two years will have to be held in prison. During the punishment, they will take the time of detention before the court.
The prosecutor at the meeting on October 19 asked to be sentenced to Rustem Emiruseinov by 18 years in a maximum security colony, Arsen Abkhairov - by 15, and escorter Abdulganiev - by 16.
More than 200 people came to support the defendants in the case-their relatives and fellow countrymen, as well as the Consul of Ukraine in Rostov-on-Don Yuri Dovgul. On the eve of another 200 people, heading to the Rostov court, were detained on the Kerch bridge in Crimea. In the evening they took documents from them and returned only on the morning of November 3, the detainees did not get to Rostov-on-Don.
