In Russia, more than 19 thousand new cases of coronavirus per day were identified the second day in a row.

Over the past day, 19,404 new cases of coronavirus infection in 85 regions have identified in Russia, the operational headquarters reports . The total number of identified cases of infection in the country reached 1,712,858.

292 deaths were recorded per day. For the entire period in the country, 29,509 people died from coronavirus. Over the past day, 12,238 people recovered in the country, the total number of recovered patients increased to 1,279,169.

Most of the new cases in Moscow-5,255, St. Petersburg- 1093 , the Moscow region- 588 , the Nizhny Novgorod region- 422 , the Arkhangelsk region- 377 .
