The 2020 election campaign in the United States surprisingly resembles the Russian presidential campaign of 1996.

The organizers of the 1996 election campaign can be understood. They set themselves good goals: they saved Russia from the Communists. The problem is that at the same time they showed that people can and should wash their brains. And then the created tool of influence was remarkably modernized.

The USA is a country in which, unlike Russia, the elections are really taking place. But in this election campaign there were several details that distinguish it from full -fledged democratic elections and bring it closer to the elections like Russian.

To begin with: both candidates, Biden and Trump, were placed by the establishment and the media in unequal conditions.

The largest media USA talked about Trump approximately like Prigozhinsky garbage dumps - about Navalny.

Take, for example, the son of Joe Biden Hunter, who spent 11 thousand dollars in strip clubs and 21 thousand dollars on porn sites. All this, of course, does not concern Joe Bayden: do anyone have any misfortune with his son? But as for Joe Bayden, it is that it was through Hunter, with his cocaine and porn sites, the administrative resource of the family was oxidized.

We heard that this is a “Russian misinformation” (also a familiar reception, we usually say “order of the State Department”), and most of the voters did not hear anything at all, because Twitter and Facebook banned links to this investigation as unverified (Yandex also does not like to refer to Navalny and Khodorkovsky resources).

What is there unverified? Hunter's computer lies in the FBI. Even Biden does not dare to deny that the emails are genuine. Anyway, the matter is not in IMILS! The fact is that Baiden Sr. took his son on a fateful trip, where there were difficult negotiations with the Chinese, and his son returned from there with a contract for $ 1.5 billion. Is this-misinformation? Fake? Not true?

Who seriously thinks that the Chinese paid Hunter Biden for the sake of his extraordinary business qualities? How does the career of Biden Jr. differ from the career of countless Russian offspring members of the Council of People's Commissars and the former main security forces?

Now let's look at the attitude of the media establishment to another story, which was just a one hundred percent and rough fake - I mean the dossier of the “golden rain”.

It was a linden ordered by the election campaign Hillary Clinton and a styl of $ 168 thousand concocted by Christopher for 168 thousand without any reason. We now know the "sources" of this dossier. If Mr. Komi did not know this in April 2018, two years after his subordinates interviewed Danchenko, then what did he know?

The dossier of the style became for the American left to the same thing as for believers the belt of the Virgin. There were several reasons why Baiden avoided meetings and debate. One of them, obviously, is that Biden is in the wrong and cognitive form that would allow him to do this. The second reason was that he had nothing to answer questions about corruption, in addition to saying that questions are provocation, and the documents themselves were a fake. This is a bad answer for a democratic competitive policy, and all the efforts of Google and Twitter cannot correct this answer.

Finally, another reason why Biden did not want to answer many questions is that in the modern American Democratic there are two wings. One is classic metropolitan gentlemen living at the expense of an administrative resource, the typical representative of which is Biden.

Another is the young “socially oriented” gentlemen that they want to destroy the whole world of violence, sexism and racism, which is, in their opinion, the United States, and build a wonderful new world. In this beautiful new world, gas and oil will be prohibited, passers -by will repent on the streets that they are white, racist relic of freedom of speech will be liquidated and the state agency will be appointed commissar for seminars for critical racial theory.

For this, the wing would be more natural to nominate Bernie Sanders to the candidates; But Sanders would have flown with a mass voter. Therefore, Biden put forward. And since Bidden is forced to please both wings with his program, he, instead of giving clear answers on the main points of his program, leaves the answer. Supports Biden Green New Deal or not? Will he “get into” the Supreme Court or not?

On all these questions, two varieties of its potential voters would like to hear diametrically opposite answers, and

Biden revolves like a frying pan and as a result is an extremely unappetizing sight of a “conservative democrat”,

At the same time, promising to end “institutional racism” and “police arbitrariness”. It is as if dad Alexander Borgia tried to please the electorate of Savonarola.

It is impossible not to pay attention to the fact that all these three reasons why Biden refused to conduct an active election campaign are usually characteristic of the elderly authoritarian rulers. They confuse granddaughters with their sons. It is they who avoid answering questions about corruption. They do not know what their program is, except for the program to have power.

The ghost hung over this campaign - the ghost of political violence. On the eve of the elections in Washington and New York, store owners hastily qualified the windows in anticipation of pogroms and robberies. All the last time, left and ultralevies told us that Trump would not give power, but all this time it was the ultralery terrorized the streets of American cities, demanded from visitors to restaurants of immediate racial repentance on camera and generally behaved in the same way as Islamic radicals in Europe - and it was engaged in systemic violence and declared themselves offended.

If someone hopes that violence will leave with Biden’s victory, then, alas, historical experience shows that the opposite will happen. The more the silent majority inferior to an aggressive and organized minority, the more aggressive this minority becomes.

The most shocking circumstance of this campaign was probably that a significant part of Trump’s voters, as it turned out, was afraid to admit sociologists that she voted for him.

The fear of answering the question of a sociologist directly is a classic sign of a non -free society.

Trump’s voters are afraid to admit that they vote for Trump, just as in Russia, if Navalny had been allowed to the polls, voters would be afraid to admit that they would vote for him.

All of the above, strictly speaking, is not a sign of a non -free society. In the end, in Russia Navalny no one will allow the elections, and in the USA Trump is the president. But all of the above - the manipulations of the media, the “Russian agent”, the dossier of the styl, pogroms and protests, the non -aloof pressure of the left -wing establishment and even quite serious promises from the left activists to send all the Republicans to the re -education camp - cost tens of millions of votes.

The United States at the moment is the most free and most correctly organized country in the world. But, as Ronald Reagan said, "freedom is never further than in one generation from extinction." (The Freedom Is Never More That Generation from Extination.)

This is what we observe in the American elections. All those features of the current election campaign that we have seen are political censorship, the declaration of our opponents with Russian agents, offensive refusals to answer questions, suppression of information, undisguised pressure from an organized minority, a threat to lose work and reputation and a completely unambiguous threat of violence - these are signs of a non -free society. In many ways, these are the signs of the Russian elections of 1996.

And in 1996, the next stage always follows. A political machine of this kind, once being created, never stops halfway.

And if thirty years ago, the inhabitants of the collapsed scoop, the elections in the Western open society seemed an unshakable ideal, now we are increasingly seeing that general suffrage can lead to destructive consequences.
